great review! I like how you don’t care about brand loyalty, you just appreciate what’s good!!
Great video. Thanks. Glad to see how you are using Google Home. I started with Google Home as I have Google Nest cams which I did not see you mention. I switched to Alexa as we have a number of security cams (mainly Wyze)Β
and a key feature we use often daily is ALEXA “DROP-IN-” to chat around the house. It is excellent.
We have about 150 connected smart home devices including lights, switches, motion & leak sensors, AC, baseboard thermostats, TVs, cams, blinds, CO/smoke detector, sprinklers, air quality, weather monitor, door lock, dishwasher, Broadlink, Harmony, water shutoff, ..
I am interested if you have tried Nest cam yet? I am comparing Nest & Wyze for home monitoring …Β
I am also interested in how Gemini may help on Nest cams … a key feature I use daily is activity zones which Google has fairly hidden. It is great. I have used it since Dropcam days.
Apple so far is least helpful for smart home capabilities…
I see you are using Telus so are in Canada … I have Rogers with Shaw XB7 with pods.
I have a Google nest hub 2 gen and I use it as Bluetooth speaker
That was lame, I thought you were going to show me how to set up my smart good products. Why would you make a video about what you have?
I have both Alexa and Google speakers. It seems for some reason that Google is slower to respond to commands like turning off the kitchen. Hopefully they will get and update. Great video
